How to care for your skin in the winter months
In the winter months taking care of your skin can be a little more challenging, or maybe a better word to use is involved perhaps? For some people with oily skin the trick is to keep up with using their moisturizers even when the drier months might mean less oil for their skin type. It is paramount to make sure you stay on top of your moisturizers on colder months because your skin reacts to cold climates by loosing some of that some of that moisture you may see more of during warmer months. Try switching to a hydrating cleanser, that can really avoid some dry spots and improve the overall feel of your skin. Sunscreens are still a big deal even in the winter! Even though the sun’s UVB rays are not as strong in the winter, UVA rays are still present and can age you. Other honorable mentions during these months are limiting hot showers, avoiding harsh scrubs and heavy scented products can really make a difference.
